The St. John’s Legacy Foundation held its appropriation meeting on 08.14.2023. In total $92,000 for allocated for the following organizations or UOCC parishes in Alberta:

  1. Kiev’s K Hi Summer Camp
  2. Camp Barvinok Society
  3. St. John’s Cathedral 100th Anniversary Projects
  4. St. Anthony’s Ukrainian Orthodox Parish in Edmonton
  5. Ukrainian Orthodox Church, St. Mary, Shepenitz
  6. St. Andrew’s Sobor in Edmonton

Earlier in 2023 the following organizations or UOCC parishes in Alberta received funding for projects:

  1. Spedden Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Holy Trinity
  2. Ukrainian Museum of Canada, Alberta Branch
  3. Ukrainian Civil Liberties Foundation

Total funding  for all of these organizations or UOCC parishes in Alberta projects in 2023 comes to $104,552

The St. John’s Legacy Foundation Board is pleased that we were able to support all of these projects in our first year of operation.

The next round of applications from organizations or UOCC parishes in the Western Eparchy will take place after the April 1, 2024 deadline.
